DESCRIPTION:

OMNIDriveUSB LF is an external PC Card drive for Linear Flash, SRAM, ATA Flash Cards, ATA Hard Disks, SmartMedia Cards, CompactFlash Cards, Multimedia Cards, and SD Cards.

OMNIDriveUSB LF is designed to handle Linear Flash, SRAM PC Cards as well as ATA memory media. Our own device drivers guarantee trouble-free and reliable operation under even under Windows 2000 and XP.
Included is also our powerful PC Card Manager software utility which allows for:

Flexible DOS Format Utility
Hex Editor and Binary Data Copy Utility
Inspect and Repair Tool for ATA media

Especially for OEM and system integrators is our optional Software Development Kit (SDK) which allows for direct access to PC Cards from within a customer-specific application.

HIGH-SPEED DATA TRANSFER VIA USB PORT

OMNIDriveUSB LF is a member of the new High Speed OMNIDrive product family. It is based on CSM�s unique, flexible CCore XILINX design.

The device is fully Plug&Play compatible and can be used under Windows 98/SE/Me, Windows 2000 Pro and Windows XP. In addition, it is our first device to be operational under LINUX.

When connected to the USB port the driver software will be installed automatically (only the first time the device is connected) and the device is ready for use.

DATA SECURITY

Exceptional data security is achieved by special means against electrostatic discharge. In addition the device features a watchdog, low voltage monitoring and power-fail detection. Continuous checksum monitoring during data transfer provides for additional data security. A robust aluminum case protects the device and PC Card.
